Sara Andrews

At the age of 5, Sara came to the farm with her Sunday school class and rode a pony for the first time. That first ride was the beginning of a lifelong love of horses and her career here at Graystone. Sara joined our Pony Club Program shortly after that first visit and then transitioned into the lesson program at age 8. She worked first as a young volunteer helping with parties, then became an assistant instructor and eventually one of our senior instructors. She got her first horse when she was 14 and began competing in Western Pleasure. Sara graduated from NC State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. While at NCSU she was also a member of the Western Riding Team. She married her high school sweet heart, Taylor, in 2019 and they currently live in Reidsville. Sara now teaches 5th grade at South End Elementary in Reidsville and was named Beginning Teacher of the Year for the 2018/2019 school year.
